About Soroptimist International and Lake Havasu Chamber Foundation for Education and Leadership: Soroptimist International is a global volunteer organization that provides women and girls with access to the education and training they need to achieve economic empowerment. The Lake Havasu Chamber Foundation for Education and Leadership supports future leaders with game changing work experience and business education through a paid internship program for high school students and holds Leadership Lake Havasu, a comprehensive leadership development program to identify resources and educate individuals to assume leadership roles within our community.
The mission of CFEL, the Lake Havasu Chamber Foundation for Education & Leadership, is developing leadership, workforce and business education programs to increase overall quality of community in Lake Havasu City.

Our 4th Annual Chowderfest will be Sat, March 8, 2025!

Lake Havasu City restaurants will be serving up their own unique versions of chowder for a friendly competition to win the Golden Ladle. There will also be a variety of breweries, wineries and distilleries sampling and marketing their craft. This event will benefit education for women and girls, both locally and internationally. This fun-filled, community-centered event will highlight local businesses and organizations and feature live music, vendors and exhibitors.
